Installing Foam Under Slab for NewenHouse Kit Home

Here Sonya Newenhouse is taping the three layers of 4 inch thick EPS foam that is being installed under the slab of the NewenHouse kit home. She also demonstrates how the utility pipes are insulated and taped. The home will be Passive House certified, therefore it is critical to create an air tight envelope -- including under the slab. Installed here is 12 inches of insulation, with an R value of 57.
