Needless to say, since this material is harvested from deep within the earth, each country is famous for a totally different color scheme. Vermont has red and black, India possesses a beautiful pink and yellow mixture and Brazil has a green and gold mixture.

Each and every one of these naturally harvested stones requires very little maintenance. They are usually simply swept clean. The hardness of each of them means that they will last a life time. They have everlasting beauty that will never fade or be washed away. And, it goes without mentioning that they are all unaffected by the extreme variations of any of the weather cycles. However, they are all in the very expensive category.

Clay bricks, on the other hand, have a lot of the characteristics of the above mentioned natural stones. They are available in a wide range of colors. They are hard wearing and should last a lifetime, if they are properly installed. Here is the advantage that clay bricks have over the others; they are affordable. That is important to most people.
